Overview

This policy explains how sentinelforge.example uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy. Because we sell offensive-security services, we take our own website hygiene seriously — we run the minimum tracking necessary to operate the site and measure marketing effectiveness at an aggregate level.

Our approach

• We use no third-party advertising cookies.
• We use a privacy-preserving analytics tool (Plausible) that is cookieless by default. It records only aggregate page-view and event data with no personal identifiers.
• We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals as opt-outs of all non-essential cookies.
• Consent for non-essential cookies is captured explicitly via our banner for EEA/UK visitors, and opt-out is available in all other jurisdictions.

Similar technologies

• Local storage: we store your cookie-consent choices and theme preference (light/dark) in your browser's local storage. No personal data.
• Session storage: temporary in-session state for the contact form — cleared when you close the tab.
• Web-beacon / pixel: we do not use tracking pixels.

Third-party services on the site

Where we embed content or integrations that could set cookies (e.g., a video demo from a third-party host), we load them with a click-to-load pattern so no third-party cookies are set until you activate that content.

How to control cookies

You can control cookies in three ways:

• Our banner and settings link in the footer let you change your choices at any time.
• Your browser can be configured to block or delete cookies. See aboutcookies.org.
• Global Privacy Control — enable it in your browser and we treat it as an opt-out signal.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site from functioning (form CSRF protection, bot mitigation).

If we add or remove a cookie, we update this policy and the table above. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
